Mariners Quilt Guild

Sharing and learning new techniques

share10The Mariners meeting on April 14 was all about learning new techniques. Five quilters shared their know-how at different demonstration stations. Betty showed how to make a disappearing pinwheel block. Karen made beads using a variety of fabrics. Margaret shared how to make small bags with two seven-inch squares.

Gillian made Barb Robson’s 1/4-inch borders and Jean demonstrated a nifty technique for assembling a quilt sandwich when space is limited.

Here’s how it looked.
