Mariners Quilt Guild

Tonight’s meeting

There has been a program change for the meeting March 9, 2015.

Jacqueline will be leading the session on snow dyeing  – and it looks like the weather is cooperating by giving us more fresh snow this afternoon.

Dress for a possible mess and be prepared for some fun.

What you will need
Jacqueline asks that you bring the following items:

  • rubber gloves and
  • a small container with a lid for your completed dye project (an ice cream, butter, or yogurt container is perfect)
  • a sealable plastic bag for your container to prevent any spills on the way home.

You will be given a fat quarter to use but if you wish to bring additional fabric to try it must have been prewashed and marked with your initial so you can identify after it has been presoaked. Bring an extra container for separate fabric.

Workshop Reminder
This is your last chance to register for the Heather Stewart Colour Theory Workshop before it is open to non-members. Space is limited to 18 participants and will be a great learning opportunity. Learn more on our Workshops page.

As always, bring your show and share items – and some change for the 50-50 draw.

See you tonight.
