Colour Theory with Jennifer Oldford

Jennifer is a art teacher at Prince Andrew High School. Her knowledge of colour and fabric was extensive and as often as we quilters deal with fabric and choosing colours, there is always something more to learn.  In this hands on mini-workshop we used fabrics to create our own personalized colour wheels and with Jennifer’s assistance we did good!

She was an excellent presenter – helped “newbies” understand colour coordination, hues, tints, saturation, value, etc.  all the terms that we hear on a regular basis.  Her slide show using great works of art to help us envision how fabrics work together was truly inspiring.
